Songs of Renown: Miss You Nights by Art Garfunkel

Art Garfunkel is best known for his work with Paul Simon in Simon and Garfunkel.

But some of his finest vocal work can be found on the solo albums he recorded after the breakup of Simon and Garfunkel.

Garfunkel's version of the song Miss You Nights appears on his 4th solo album Fate for Breakfast recorded in 1979. It is magnificient balled that demonstrates the purity, range and beauty of Garfunkel's singing.

The song also features the superb piano playing of Larry Knechtel, who played piano for Simon and Garfunkel, most notably on Bridge over Troubled Water.
