The deception continues: Obama White House deliberately underestimated the amount of BP oil gushing into the Gulf of Mexico

So now we know that the Obama White House intentionally underestimated (lied about) the amount of oil gushing from the Deepwater Horizon explosion in the Gulf of Mexico. 

Truth Out reports that the Obama White House prevented Government  scientists from making public their estimates of the worst case scenarios of the amount of oil gushing into the Gulf of Mexico. Despite having the  information about the amount of oil gushing from the damaged well, the White House allowed scientists to only use the lower estimates in public and kept hidden from the public the Government's own worst case estimates.
